About Our Dance Studio

Prodigy Dance Australia's recreational classes are the perfect introduction to dance for students from age eighteen months and above.

Our teachers focus on the fun and joy of dance, while also building technique and making sure every student is having a great time.

For those looking for more of a challenge from their dancing, we offer both a competition stream of classes as well as exam opportunities.

Our competition stream of classes (dance or cheer) have a higher focus on technique, skill level and teamwork. Students work towards competing in local, state and national competitions.

Operating from our purpose built facilities in Lambton, with three beautiful studios complete with a kitchenette and a student study area. With eight different styles of dance on offer for students from 18 months to late teens.

The teachers at Prodigy Dance have a vast range of experience across all styles. Our collective approach is to share our love of dance while being supportive and encouraging.

At Prodigy Dance Australia, we provide a special place where students feel safe and supported. This gives them the opportunity to spark a passion for dance and build lifelong memories and friendships.

Our experienced faculty aims to create an inclusive, encouraging environment where students can explore their creativity and potential while building self-confidence through dance.

OUR VISION

Our vision is to create a world where everyone can access the magic of dance. We have witnessed first hand how dance can build character, confidence and friendships. This beautiful, enriching sport is an incredible tool to teach body awareness, self-discipline and teamwork.

Through our service of teaching dance, we strive to provide exceptional coaching and leadership to our students. While striving to instil the importance of etiquette and manners, we also focus on good self-esteem and positive body image.

In addition, we want being a ‘Dance Mum’ (or Dad) to be easy and enjoyable! You’ll find our admin team to be easy to communicate with and we won’t hit you with surprise fees or requests to sew costumes.

We believe that our values of Resilience, Determination, and Courage extend far beyond the walls of the dance studio. We actively incorporate these values into our lessons, empowering our students to apply them to every aspect of their lives.
